Child/Adolescent Case Manager

Job Summary
Case Managers will provide quality case management services to youth with a severe emotional disturbance (SED) in family homes, educational settings, program sites or other community settings. Responsibilities include delivering strengths-based case management, collaborating with mental health center staff, ensuring timely referrals and assessments, completing required documentation and data reporting, meeting client engagement expectations, maintaining flexibility in scheduling, completing required trainings, and serving on the mobile crisis on-call rotation. Strong knowledge of mental health theory and practice, effective interpersonal and written communication skills, proficiency with electronic health records, and ability to establish therapeutic relationships with clients and community agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or be equivalently qualified through a combination of related work experience and education, with one year of experience substituting for one year of education
- Meet specifications outlined by KDADS licensing policy
- Completion of background checks, drug screening process, and motor vehicle record check
