Job Summary
Co-Founder & CTO responsible for defining and owning the AI/ML strategy and the end-to-end cloud-native platform architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure). Lead and mentor the engineering/AI teams, drive platform capabilities through R&D, and align technical roadmaps with business goals. Architect modular, secure, scalable cloud infrastructure; implement modern DevOps and MLOps practices; oversee data pipelines, model lifecycle, security by design, and governance to meet regulatory requirements. Role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced startup, equity ownership, and delivering an enterprise AI-powered platform.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success defining AI/ML strategy and architecting cloud-native systems from the ground up
- Track record translating high-level business goals into robust software architecture and scalable technical roadmaps
- Experience designing and implementing bespoke machine learning frameworks for data-driven products
- Expert-level command of Python, Java, C++, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Hands-on expertise in MLOps pipelines for CI/CD, monitoring, and retraining of models
- Knowledge of AI governance, performance evaluation, risk mitigation for production AI systems
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to mentor cross-functional teams
- Experience in fast-paced, agile startups or innovation-driven environments
- Strategic mindset balancing long-term technical debt, innovation, and immediate priorities
- Understanding of data governance, security best practices, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Ability to articulate a clear technical vision to stakeholders
- Founding-equity oriented, ownership mindset
