Job Summary
Lead the technology vision, strategy, and implementation for a new corporate venture building a digital platform in the manufacturing sector. Collaborate closely with the commercial CEO to develop a scalable platform model and establish a modern, AI-driven architecture with high autonomy for technology decisions. Build and lead a high-performance engineering team covering hardware and software, setting development standards and managing time-to-market, scalability, security, and performance. Define the technical roadmap aligned with business goals and oversee the selection of external partners and service providers for product evolution. Report to the board and drive the venture from inception to market success in Karlsruhe/Stuttgart, starting June 1.
Required Qualifications
- Erste Erfahrung als CTO, Lead Engineer oder in einer vergleichbaren technischen Führungsrolle in einem Startup oder wachstumsstarken Umfeld
- Nachweisbare Erfahrung im Aufbau skalierbarer digitaler Produkte/Services
- Fundiertes Verständnis moderner Softwarearchitekturen
- Sehr gute Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch
- Unternehmerisches Mindset
- Hohe Eigenverantwortung
- "Hands-on"-Mentalität
Desired Qualifications
- Erfahrung in der Elektronikentwicklung von Industrial IoT
- Erfahrung in moderner Softwareentwicklung in der Cloud (insb. Azure Cloud)
- Ausgeprägtes Verständnis für Produktentwicklung, UX und datengetriebene Entscheidungen
- Erfahrung im Aufbau skalierbarer digitaler Produkte/Services (idealerweise Plattformen oder SaaS)
