Job Summary
CTO leads Nomni's global technology organization, defining and executing the long-term technology roadmap, and overseeing engineering, architecture, AI, data, infrastructure, security, and platform operations. The role partners with Product, Commercial, Operations, and Customer Success to scale high-performing engineering teams across regions, champion an AI-first culture, and drive innovation in scalability, reliability, and governance. Success includes accelerating product delivery velocity, building scalable architecture for global growth, advancing AI capabilities, and maintaining security and compliance standards. The role requires deep cloud-native expertise, distributed systems, and experience leading globally distributed teams to deliver enterprise-grade hospitality technology at scale.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale SaaS, platform, fintech, marketplace, or enterprise software organizations
- Experience serving as CTO, VP Engineering, Chief Architect, or equivalent executive technology leader
- Track record scaling engineering organizations through periods of rapid growth
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and modern software platforms
- Experience managing globally distributed teams
- Technical Expertise: Modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); Microservices, event-driven architectures, and platform engineering; Data platforms, analytics, AI, and machine learning ecosystems; Cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, and risk management; DevOps, SRE, CI/CD, and engineering productivity systems
- Leadership Attributes: Strategic thinker, exceptional communicator, mentoring leaders, building high-performance teams
- Good to Have: Hospitality technology experience including POS, ordering, loyalty, reservations, guest engagement, or venue operations platforms
- Location preference: Chennai, India
