Job Summary
Chief Technology Officer for Cloud9 Trader Voice leading a global engineering organization to define and execute the technology vision, product architecture, engineering strategy, security framework, and innovation roadmap. Oversees modern UI and deployment technologies, AI-centric engineering to modernize aging code, high-availability voice trading platforms, secure development lifecycle, incident response, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance, and customer/market engagement. Partners with Product and Sales to align technical goals with business objectives, guides architectural transformations, and funnels technology investments to support revenue growth across capital markets customers. Highly strategic, global leadership accountable for delivering secure, resilient, low-latency communications solutions for financial markets participants, with direct collaboration to CEO/COO/CIO and executive leadership on technology strategy and investment planning.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years experience in technology/engineering, including 10+ years in engineering management leading multiple global functions
- Proven success as a CTO, VP Engineering, or senior technology leader in a B2B SaaS, fintech, communications, or regulated technology environment
- Must have trading floor systems experience, demonstrated deployments, and global experience in capital markets
- Proven success in leading large-scale architectural transformations
- Strong track record delivering mission-critical, high-availability platforms with demanding uptime and performance requirements
- Experience with complex systems spanning cloud based operations, deployed hardware and remote management
- Extensive experience with Linux/Windows production workloads and deep knowledge of cloud technology
- Strong commercial acumen with experience aligning product and technology investments to revenue growth
- Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting to Boards, investors, enterprise customers, and senior stakeholders
