Job Summary
Chief Technologist for HPC & AI to advance sovereign AI initiatives across North America. Role includes explaining how HPE's AI solutions align with US federal and state data security protocols, providing input to product management and engineering, and collaborating with sales teams to pursue opportunities requiring high levels of security. Must be comfortable as a spokesperson for sovereign security at customers and major industry events. Requires deep AI expertise, formal CS/Engineering degree with an AI focus (master's/PhD a plus), experience delivering AI systems at scale, and 3+ years in corporate data engineering/programming; extensive security-related certifications and familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance practices (e.g., STIG, SOC 2, HIPAA/HITECH, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR).
Required Qualifications
- CS, Engineering degree with a focus or minor in AI
- at least 3+ years in developing (programming and/or data engineering) in a corporate environment
- Experience in designing complex AI environments with sovereign data security
