Supervise daily operations and specialized functions of the Laboratory, prioritizing and assigning staff duties to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with CAP, CLIA 88, and federal regulations. Maintain and revise procedures, oversee inventory ordering via Marketplace software, and prepare statistical and QA reports for committee meetings. Manage budgets by reviewing financial variances monthly, recommending capital equipment purchases, and monitoring expenditures. Lead hiring, training, performance evaluations, and continuing education for Laboratory Staff while ensuring adherence to corporate compliance policies and regulatory standards.
