Job Summary
Senior CTO role on the G-TEAD program based onsite at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Lead as the primary technical authority, bridging G-TEAD HQ leadership, CORs, and Thompson Gray teams to oversee a portfolio of programs, contracts, and capability development. Synthesize multi-source technical data into executive-ready briefs, identify risks and gaps, and ensure coherence across distributed activities. Manage information dissemination processes, develop technical requirements and SOWs, coordinate with Army program offices and external partners, and support contract performance monitoring. Requires active secret clearance, a Bachelor’s in a technical discipline, 10+ years in technical leadership or program management within DoD, and strong communication skills; Master’s degree preferred. Onsite-only with periodic travel to field locations and Army installations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of technical leadership, systems engineering, or program management experience within the DoD or federal government
- Experience with contracts, CORs, or acquisition teams in a technical oversight capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior leadership
- Experience coordinating across distributed teams and multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Army or DoD acquisition processes and program lifecycle management
- Ability to aggregate and disseminate technical data for leadership
- Experience with technical requirements, SOWs, and performance standards
- Background in data management or enterprise information architecture within a DoD context
- DAWIA certification (Systems Engineering or Program Management) or equivalent (preferred)
- TS/SCI eligibility preferred
- Active security clearance required
