Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day stewarding operations (dish room, night cleaning, back dock) and provide banquet support with plating and food running; ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards; lead and develop the stewarding team; collaborate with Culinary and F&B teams to deliver service excellence; manage inventory of china, glassware, and equipment; enforce proper cleaning procedures and equipment maintenance; support recruitment, training, and budgeting efforts within Marriott International’s stewarding and kitchen utilities operations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
- 4 years of experience in stewarding, food & beverage, culinary, or related field
- Proven experience in stewarding or kitchen utility operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Experience managing inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
