Job Summary
Manage daily kitchen utility operations, including dish room, night cleaning, and banquet plating. Order and monitor supplies, conduct china, glass, and silver inventories, and ensure all equipment and work areas meet sanitation and safety standards. Supervise kitchen employees, enforce loss prevention policies, and lead the team to achieve budget goals and performance targets. Recruit, train, and evaluate staff while addressing disciplinary procedures and soliciting feedback. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and food handling regulations. Report shortages and operational issues to executives promptly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- 2 years experience in the procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
