Job Summary
Executive-level Chief Sales Officer responsible for leading the multinational Europe-wide sales organization, driving sustainable turnover growth with full budget, performance, and P&L responsibility. Collaborates with Product Management & Supply Chain (CCO) and Internal/Supportive Services (COO) to align sales initiatives with the company strategy and partner requirements. Leads and develops the sales team across Europe, expands into new regions (including establishing a US presence), guides key client relationships, and coordinates field- and inside-sales activities to increase market power. Requires proven strategic sales experience, leadership of international teams, and a strong orientation toward business development and market expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in international trade and distribution of raw materials
- Experience leading multinational sales teams
- Business-fluent English (additional languages advantageous)
- Strategic sales leadership experience (Head of Sales or Managing Director)
- Ability to develop and implement sales concepts and drive market expansion
- Budget, performance, and P&L responsibility for a Sales division
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate with Product Management & Supply Chain (CCO) and internal services (COO)
- Experience expanding into new markets (e.g., establishing a US branch)
- Strong market analysis and customer relationship management
