Job Summary
Chief, Regional Impact is a senior, executive leadership role within the KIPP Foundation responsible for executing the One KIPP strategy across networks of regions. The role oversees Regional Superintendents, partners with Regional Executive Directors to ensure compelling academic and postsecondary outcomes, and manages the national ED pipeline to prepare future regional leaders. Responsibilities include holding regions accountable for anchor measures, designing and implementing cross-regional monitoring systems, aligning regional priorities with the One KIPP strategy across student outcomes, talent health, operations, and financial sustainability, and coaching EDs to drive strong academic and non-academic outcomes. The position requires leading with data, building scalable systems, managing stakeholder relationships including regional boards, and driving accountability and continuous improvement across four Regional Superintendents and their portfolios. The role involves extensive travel (~40%), a preferred base in NYC or Chicago with remote-work options, and a compensation range of $312,000–$390,000 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of work experience including CEO or ED of a school system
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Ability to build operational systems and proficiency with supporting tools
- Travel: Extensive (~40%)
- Full, exempt role
- Location preference for NYC or Chicago with remote option
