Job Summary

Develop and execute a long-term product development strategy by integrating market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis. Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of product development, including concept design, engineering validation, and production launch. Drive adoption of industry-leading tools such as CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar CAD/CAE platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee the integration of advanced driver-assistance systems, electric powertrains, and connected vehicle platforms while ensuring compliance with federal and international regulatory requirements. Establish KPIs to monitor project performance and foster innovation by evaluating emerging technologies in collaboration with R&D teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in automotive product development
  • at least 5 years in a senior leadership role at a major OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complete vehicle development lifecycles, including platform architecture, system integration, and homologation
  • Strong proficiency with automotive software tools and platforms, including CAD/CAE (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks), PLM (e.g., Teamcenter or Windchill), and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS)
  • Proven track record of launching successful products that align with market demands and meet stringent quality standards
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage diverse, global teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Experience in agile development processes and tools for efficient product lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with data-driven decision-making, including predictive analytics and AI tools in product design and testing
  • Established relationships with industry stakeholders, including suppliers, technology partners, and regulatory bodies
