Job Summary
Develop cost-effective and innovative procurement solutions for international transmission line projects by collaborating with the Tendering, Projects, and Suppliers teams to enhance order winnability and drive timely revenue. Lead negotiations and delivery management for critical items including conductors, insulators, hardware, and OPGW while managing stakeholder interactions across the organization. Apply deep industry knowledge and advanced Excel skills to reduce costs and improve responsiveness for EPC projects, supported by occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- 15 - 20 years' experience in Power transmission industry in Procurement Function
- Negotiation and delivery management skills
- Good stakeholder management
- Communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills with different stakeholders in Organization
- Deep knowledge of Transmission line items
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Process Oriented
- Inspiring leadership
- Passion for driving cost down and increasing responsiveness
- Electrical Engineer from a good institute
- Full time MBA from minimum tier 2 institute
- 15 - 20 years in EPC or relevant industry with deep knowledge in Transmission line items procurement like conductors, insulators, hardware items, OPGW etc
