Job Summary
Senior aviation leadership role combining Chief Pilot duties with Challenger 604 PIC responsibilities. Expect regulatory oversight as FAA-designated Chief Pilot under FAR Part 135, development and enforcement of GOM/SOPs, oversight of qualification and training, liaison with FAA POI, safety-management collaboration, and scheduling/flight-operation governance. Includes Pilot-in-Command duties for Challenger 604 on Owner and charter flights, preflight planning, compliance with SOPs and FARs, flight logs and regulatory documentation, exceptional service to charter guests, mentoring of First Officers, and other duties to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations. Requires extensive flight experience, regulatory knowledge, leadership capability, and commitment to safety. Base in Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA; full-time role with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate – Multi-Engine Land
- Bombardier CL-604 Type Rating
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
- All Part 119.71(c) requirements to be eligible for Chief Pilot assignment
- At least 23 years of age
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Must pass a 10-year background check and FAA Drug and Alcohol Program testing
- Legal authorization to work in and travel in/out of the United States without restriction
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Flight Time Requirements: Minimum 3000 hours total, Minimum 500 hours turbine, Minimum 250 hours PIC in type
