Job Summary
Direct all aspects of daily plant operations, ensuring production targets align with safety and quality expectations while tracking metrics to address performance gaps. Champion lean manufacturing strategies, serve as the primary coordination point between production, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics, and utilize ERP platforms to support decision-making. Convert informal processes into clear, repeatable procedures, monitor departmental performance to identify shortfalls, and provide the CEO with regular updates on progress and emerging risks. Build structured accountability systems across teams to translate operating frameworks into daily practice within this growing food production company.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, program/project management, or a chief-of-staff-style role
- Proven track record designing and running structured meeting cadences and accountability systems across multiple teams
- Ability to influence and coordinate across departments without direct authority over those teams
- Experience translating an operating framework, playbook, or set of guiding principles into daily practice
- Strong process documentation skills, with the ability to turn informal workflows into usable procedures
- Comfortable building structure in a business with evolving or less-formalized systems
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, preferred
