Job Summary
COO for the North Carolina Medicaid program overseeing operational strategy, performance, and administration of one of the state’s largest health programs. Leads cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, system modernization, and continuous improvement; ensure Medicaid operations are efficient, compliant, and data-driven; align with federal/state regulations and meet the needs of beneficiaries, providers, and partners. Required skills include deep understanding of Medicaid operations, regulatory requirements, health system delivery, process improvement, performance measurement, risk management, stakeholder relations, excellent oral and written communication, and the ability to articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other discipline related to the area of assignment
- five years of related operations management and leadership experience
- including three years of supervisory/management experience
- Degrees must be from appropriately accredited colleges or universities
