Job Summary

Lead strategic and operational oversight for Healthcare Services, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Life Care at Home, Resident Services, Transportation, and Security departments. Establish operational goals, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and readiness for state surveys. Foster a resident-centered culture focused on quality improvement, safety, and exceptional service delivery. Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing teams; manage annual operating and capital budgets to drive revenue growth and efficiency. Collaborate with clinical leadership on resident concerns, risk management, and strategic growth initiatives. Represent the organization at community events, support fundraising efforts, and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of five years of senior leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related service industries
  • Illinois Nursing Home Administrator License (NHAL)
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments and operational functions
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing budgets, and achieving operational goals
  • Ability to travel throughout the Chicago metropolitan area as necessary
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, board members, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders
  • Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Ability to travel throughout the Montgomery Place campus and greater community
  • Occasionally lifting and moving up to 25 pounds
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding), and computer work for extended periods
  • May require attendance at evening or weekend meetings and events

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
  • Experience within a Life Plan Community (CCRC) environment
  • Experience overseeing home and community-based services
  • Experience with strategic planning, operational growth initiatives, and organizational development
