Chief Operating Officer

Oversee multiple departments involved with real estate planning, development, construction, homeownership, and energy management to meet organizational goals. Establish policies and procedures ensuring HUD regulations are followed and directives are implemented. Review reports to track project progress, conduct periodic staff meetings, and establish performance standards for subordinates. Interview prospective employees, make hiring recommendations, and take disciplinary action as needed. Prepare or oversee the annual budget, assist in establishing the 5-year plan, and participate on advisory committees to promote public housing. Represent the agency in meetings with governmental officials and the general public while monitoring changes in federal regulations.
