Job Summary
Chief Operating Officer for a boutique plaintiff personal injury and wrongful death firm in North Atlanta. The COO will oversee day-to-day operations and serve as a key leadership partner to the attorneys, managing staff, improving internal alignment and workflows, overseeing expenses and financial visibility, and contributing to marketing and/or operational strategy depending on experience. Flexible responsibilities may be shaped by the right candidate’s strengths, with emphasis on building structure, governance, and scalable processes while collaborating with attorneys and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a law firm or professional services operations
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Financial acumen (budgeting and expense oversight required)
- Ability to implement structure without overcomplicating systems
- Comfortable navigating strong opinions and direct communication styles
- Marketing or business development exposure a plus
