Chief Officer for Containership responsible for the safe planning and execution of cargo and ballast operations, ensuring ship stability and structural integrity throughout the voyage; leads the deck department and maintains safe navigational watch as a key member of the bridge team, including emergency response. Manages hull and fittings maintenance, deck stores, crew accommodations, Ship Security Officer duties, environmental protection measures (garbage management), and compliance with lifesaving and firefighting equipment requirements and international regulations; promotes safe working practices and conducts regular safety inspections.
