Job Summary
Chief of Staff to Head of People (Internship) focused on end-to-end recruiting and HR operations. You will own the full candidate lifecycle, develop nationwide recruiting and HR systems to scale beyond 1,000 employees, and manage budgeting in the high five-figure range. You will directly engage with company executives on personnel topics and help shape the strategy of the People division across Germany. The role requires in-office work at the Berlin office (Prenzlauer Berg), fluent German (C2) with strong English, autonomous work ethic, and exceptional communication. Responsibilities include managing application processes, creating candidate scorecards, coordinating with teams, and implementing scalable HR processes. The position is at Buena, a fast-growing startup in the real estate/tech space in Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent German at C2 level and good English proficiency
- In-office work in Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg)
- Independent, self-directed work style
- Extremely strong communication skills with regular, direct collaboration
- Very ambitious with a track record of high initiative in People/HR topics
