Job Summary

Own the CEO's external operating system by proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships with utility executives, board members, investors, and strategic partners. Build and maintain a structured pipeline of executive connections while managing the CEO's calendar strategically to optimize for long-term company outcomes. Prepare concise briefs before critical meetings and draft communications including board updates and investor narratives on the CEO's behalf. Own cross-functional strategic projects end to end, coordinate board materials and fundraising preparation, and run executive operating rhythms to ensure priorities stay aligned. Serve as the CEO's credible stand-in in external-facing conversations and represent Treeswift across technical, operational, and executive audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • MBA or comparable experience in consulting, investing, strategy, or startup leadership
  • demonstrated ability to quickly build credibility in executive circles
  • comfortable speaking with everyone from frontline operators to Fortune 500 CEOs
  • high agency: you spot what needs to happen and go do it, rather than waiting for direction
  • comfortable with the pace and scope-shifting of an early-stage company
  • deep enough understanding of Treeswift's business and strategy to help the CEO drive the company's most important priorities internally
  • ability to build and maintain a structured pipeline of executive relationships
  • ability to represent the CEO credibly in front of clients and partners
  • ability to turn company strategy into action, working across sales, operations, engineering, and leadership
  • ability to surface issues, drive decisions, and make sure the highest-priority work moves forward
