Job Summary
Chief of Staff to the CEO responsible for executive office operations, board and investor liaison, strategic planning rhythms, and cross-functional execution. Owns calendar alignment with company priorities, serves as primary contact for CEO reports, stands in for the CEO in select meetings, manages external brand with investors and customers, and designs decisive leadership meetings. Drives quarterly planning cycles, OKRs, leadership reviews, and maintains the company operating dashboard with weekly metrics, ensuring timely follow-through on action items. Leads strategic initiatives across Eng, GTM, and Ops, tracks high-priority initiatives, and fosters cross-functional collaboration. Supports fundraising, board communications, and stakeholder management, acting as a thought partner to challenge assumptions and shape long-term strategy. Expected to be AI-native with experience near LLM products, and to thrive in a high-intensity, ownership-driven environment. The role emphasizes executive leverage, strategic advisory, and organizational connective tissue to scale product and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years in BizOps, strategy, or operator roles at high-velocity companies or similar track record
- AI-native, shipped or operated close to LLM products, understands eval/inference economics
- exceptional writing and thinking; able to communicate clearly and concisely
- confidential information handling and executive-level relationship management
- ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from ambiguous start to finish
- strong ownership, low ego, high accountability, and bias for action
- proactive problem-solving, ability to design meetings and drive decision-making
- ability to work in fast-paced startup environments and influence without formal authority
- experience with board prep, investor communications, and fundraising coordination
- ability to synthesize performance data and communicate risks and decisions
