Job Summary
Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer at Pendo, based in Raleigh or NYC, with a regular in-person Raleigh presence required. Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept to completion, drive operational oversight across Sales, Post Sales, Finance, Demand Generation, Product, and Engineering, and serve as COO proxy in key meetings. Own critical communications and support Board/exec cadences. Influence change management and keep teams aligned during rapid growth. Maintain executive presence and proactively break down complex strategic goals into actionable plans. Must have 10+ years in a high-growth SaaS environment, strong analytics, and expertise in at least one core business area (Sales Ops, Finance, or GTM Strategy); proficient in Salesforce, Looker, and Clari; Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field. Hybrid in-office schedule: Raleigh three days per week minimum, five days preferred; NYC option also available.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, with experience in Strategy, Revenue Operations, Finance, or a previous Chief of Staff role
- Deep proficiency in at least one core business area such as Sales Operations, Finance, or GTM Strategy
- Proven experience driving large-scale strategic projects and managing cross-functional stakeholders at the executive level
- Strong executive presence and the ability to act as a trusted advisor
- Expert-level analytical skills, including ability to analyze complex problems and use tools such as Salesforce, Looker, or Clari to produce actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage a large workload, and remain calm, unbiased, and confident with senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
