Job Summary
Lead campus safety and security operations as Incident Commander and first responder to all emergencies. Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive safety programs while evaluating risk profiles across facilities, transportation, and field trips. Conduct annual internal assessments and facilitate external audits every three years. Manage the department's annual operating budget and oversee security technology including visitor management and surveillance systems. Lead training programs and drills for employees, volunteers, coaches, and substitutes. Serve as primary liaison with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency management agencies. Coordinate with health authorities for community health concerns and support investigations as needed. Maintain situational awareness of threats and proactively implement preventative measures. Uphold the school's Christ-centered culture through servant leadership and relational unity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Extensive law enforcement, security, or emergency management experience
- Strong experience in risk assessment, security planning, and first response
- Firearms training and certifications
- CPR & First Aid certifications
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Commitment to ongoing professional, personal, and spiritual growth
