Job Summary
The Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology will oversee division operations including clinical practice, teaching, and research within the Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will lead a team of pediatric endocrinologists, nutritionists, and mental health professionals, participate in ambulatory and inpatient clinical services, and supervise medical students and residents. The role includes collaboration with Internal Medicine Endocrinology, management of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Programs, and involvement in weight management services. Board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology and eligibility for medical staff credentialing at Boston Medical Center are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Physician (MD or DO) board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology Medicine
- Eligible to be fully licensed and credentialed as an attending physician at Boston Medical Center
