Job Summary
Hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff while overseeing daily operations, sustainability programs, and inventory within the department budget. Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance across all hotel areas, inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards. Troubleshoot technical devices including key card systems and internet equipment, and oversee safety programs and key control. Greet and assist guests with requests, proactively building relationships to maintain high satisfaction levels. Collaborate with all departments to support hotel goals and attend required meetings and trainings. Handle problems by anticipating, preventing, and solving issues as necessary while maintaining confidentiality and complying with InnVentures standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of progressive facilities management experience in a hotel or a related field
- 2-year college degree
- 1 year of related management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC skills
- Electrical skills
- Plumbing skills
- Boiler operations skills
- General maintenance skills
- Long hours
