Job Summary
Chief of Maintenance directs inspection activities for the corporate flight department; coordinates, schedules, and supervises maintenance work; assists the Chief Pilot; ensures aircraft airworthiness and regulatory compliance; maintains maintenance records; establishes and maintains an FAA-approved maintenance inspection program; keeps a current library of manuals and regulatory documents; supports the internal SMS safety program; oversees budget and supervises temporary/contract maintenance staff; on-site at MKC to ensure high airworthiness, safety, and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 10 years’ aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience in a COM/DOM (Chief of Maintenance/Director of Maintenance) or Lead role
- A valid, active A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) certification
