Job Summary
Assist the WIC Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating program services while monitoring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee participant certification, food benefit issuance, and service delivery across all sites, managing staffing, scheduling, and leave approvals for clerical and breastfeeding staff. Provide coaching, technical assistance, and performance oversight to Certified Professional Authorities, ensuring staff competency and adherence to program standards. Lead development and evaluation of annual Nutrition Education and Breastfeeding Promotion Plans, collaborating with healthcare providers and community partners to promote evidence-based practices. Prepare and submit required reports to the WIC Director, Agency management, and State WIC Office. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, three years of supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health Administration
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in WIC, public health nutrition, or community health programs
