Job Summary
Oversee hospital clinical services by establishing best practices, managing nursing teams, and coordinating care with patient support functions. Provide leadership in setting standards for nursing and other clinical services, while steering progressive clinical excellence through staff development. Actively assign personnel, serve as a consultant, and ensure all regulatory requirements are met alongside the creation of safe staffing schedules. Manage employee engagement, recruitment, and retention to deliver high-quality care for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare or enrollment in a Masters program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- 3 or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Certified BLS completed on date of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Three of these years of RN experience in rehabilitation nursing
- CRRN when eligible
