Job Summary
Direct all services provided by the Nursing Services Department and lead 24-hour nursing operations at South Sound Behavioral Hospital. Develop, implement, and revise facility policies while evaluating nursing program quality and effectiveness. Establish nursing committees for patient care needs, consult with the CEO on long-term goals, and strategically solve organizational problems. Conduct studies and research to formulate plans for new programs and changes to existing services.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in psychiatric nursing or related field
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- A thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience in psychiatric nursing
