Job Summary

Provide leadership to nurse employees to create ownership of goals and actively participate in decisions impacting the Hospital. Maintain regulatory and compliance approvals, quality accreditations, and nursing service standards while managing costs through data-driven actions. Partner with physicians, assist in planning new revenue-generating services, and develop organizational patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Represent nursing services at medical staff and hospital board meetings, oversee multiple departments, and ensure sufficient qualified staff to assess patient needs. Analyze performance improvement activities and design patient care interventions to prevent complications and promote wellness. This role reports directly to the hospital CEO within a 106-bed acute care facility serving local families and farmworkers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful leadership in an acute-care hospital environment
  • Valid California Registered Nurse license
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification
