Job Summary

Chief Member Officer leads and delivers a premier membership experience for LIV members, shaping membership strategy and coordinating operations across membership, engagement, product development and delivery, communication, support services, and community building. The role ensures governance, compliance, and quality standards across learning, editorial, and publishing functions, and drives membership growth and retention through targeted campaigns, university partnerships, firm/employer engagement, and profession-wide outreach. Leads high-performing teams across growth, experience design, content, learning and channels, with a focus on delivering value to practitioners, firms, employers, and the community. Requires a senior leadership background in membership, customer experience, or professional services (10+ years); experience in a legal association or service-led organisation is highly desirable.
