Job Summary
Lead Elixir's overall marketing strategy and go-to-market execution to drive growth, strengthen market position, and accelerate revenue. Build, lead, and actively participate in a growing marketing organization by hiring, developing, and coaching team members while establishing performance standards. Own and execute an integrated marketing strategy across strategic marketing, product marketing, brand management, demand generation, partner marketing, sales enablement, analyst relations, and marketing technology. Serve as a highly visible external voice and product evangelist, leading public relations, media engagement, customer storytelling, and speaking opportunities to build brand credibility. Partner with leadership across Sales, Alliances, Product, Engineering, and Finance to assess organizational capabilities and ensure marketing plans are aligned with business strategy. Conduct global market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to support strategy, alliance development, and product roadmap planning. Maintain and optimize the Martech stack, integrate advanced data analytics, and use KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Drive category marketing, thought leadership, and analyst relations engagements with firms such as Forrester, Gartner, and IDC. Create and improve sales and partner enablement materials to support customer acquisition and expansion. Travel quarterly to customers, partners, and industry events, with relocation to the Ojai area expected after six months.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience
- Experience leading marketing strategy, execution, and team development
- Experience in a B2B technology, SaaS, enterprise software, or similarly complex business environment
- Executive marketing leadership with the ability to set strategy, align stakeholders, and translate corporate objectives into measurable marketing plans
- Strong people leadership, coaching, hiring, performance management, and team-building skills
- Revenue-oriented marketing judgment, including demand generation, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition, customer expansion, campaign performance, and marketing ROI
- Cross-functional collaboration and executive influence across Sales, Alliances, Product, Engineering, Finance, and other business functions
- Executive communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to simplify complex technology, create compelling narratives, and produce effective sales, partner, and market-facing materials
- Adaptability, resourcefulness, and comfort operating in a hands-on, high-growth environment where priorities may shift and scalable processes are still being built
- Quarterly travel to customers, partners, and industry events including trade shows, conferences, and speaking engagements
- Relocation to the Ojai area after six months
