Job Summary
Manage logistics operations supporting Special Operations Mission Training Center activities, executing supply management and accountability functions while maintaining property records. Coordinate issue, turn-in, and tracking of Government property using Global Combat Support System–Army, and monitor compliance with Army supply regulations and Department of DoD property management policies. Assist with inventories, reconciliations, audits, and inspections, and prepare logistics reports for uninterrupted mission execution. Requires active Secret Security Clearance and five years of logistics experience. Full-time position in Fort Bragg, NC with CONUS and OCONUS travel availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Minimum five years of logistics experience
- Knowledge of Army supply regulations
- Knowledge of Department of Defense property book regulations and accounting policies
- In-depth knowledge of the Army Supply System
- Minimum two years of experience using Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army)
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Must be available for CONUS and OCONUS travel
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from the American Society of Transportation and Logistics
- Certification from the International Society of Logistics
- Familiarity with the Defense Property Accountability System
- Knowledge of relationships between technical supply operations and general supply support programs
- Maintain a minimum Secret security clearance throughout contract performance
- Comply with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual security requirements
- Complete Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing requirements as applicable
- Complete Threat Awareness and Reporting Program training annually if holding a clearance
- Complete Anti-Terrorism Level I Awareness Training
- Complete Operations Security Awareness Training and annual refresher training
- Complete Department of Defense Cyber Awareness training if requiring system access
- Comply with installation access, identity verification, and force protection requirements
- Support security requirements involving classified information and safeguarding responsibilities
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work within warehouse, office, storage, and training environments
- Ability to lift and carry supply items and equipment as required
- Ability to conduct inventories and physical inspections of Government property
- Ability to operate computers and automated logistics management systems
