Job Summary
Lead and oversee the Legal and Company Secretarial team, ensuring effective delivery of legal advisory and corporate governance services across the Group. Provide strategic counsel on regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters while managing legal risks and recommending mitigation strategies. Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of contracts to safeguard the Group's interests. Monitor regulatory developments, establish compliance frameworks, and manage legal disputes, litigation, and claims involving external counsel. Ensure timely execution of corporate exercises and transactions while supporting business decision-making with legal guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Lead and oversee the Legal and Company Secretarial team
- Provide strategic legal counsel on regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters
- Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation
- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards, and internal policies
- Monitor regulatory developments
- Establish, implement, and maintain effective legal and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Manage and oversee legal disputes, litigation, and claims
- Provide strategic advice on dispute resolution, negotiations, and settlement strategies
- Review legal and company secretarial documentation to identify potential risks, non-compliance issues, or regulatory breaches
- Ensure the timely execution and completion of corporate exercises and transactions
