Chief Inspector

Under general supervision, provide technical analysis for projects and exercise independent judgment within established parameters. Direct construction activities performed by contractors, supervise subordinate personnel, and approve or disapprove work as required. Organize and prioritize assignments, manage work schedules, and prepare complex data using computer programs. Maintain adequate documentation, interpret standards and regulations, and complete training in multiple construction areas. Perform advanced-level assignments involving highways, roadways, and bridges while utilizing complex mathematical computations. Ensure timely completion of all duties and maintain effective communication with diverse communities.
