Job Summary
Design and execute a multi-year technology master plan aligned with institutional strategic goals while overseeing core infrastructure, hardware, and software platforms. Lead the strategic selection and seamless integration of campus-wide ERP suites to break down data silos across Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and LMS systems. Supervise data center architecture, security, and uptime, establishing standards for hardware procurement, technology refreshes, and enterprise configurations. Develop and enforce comprehensive data security protocols, disaster recovery procedures, and federal privacy regulations including FERPA and GLBA. Manage, evaluate, and professionally develop IT department staff while formulating annual operational and capital expenditure budgets. Direct contract negotiations and SLA standards with technology vendors, cloud providers, and third-party developers. Report directly to the VP for Finance and Administration to elevate the College's digital campus to the next level.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
- Proven experience steering large-scale ERP migrations or comprehensive system-wide software updates
- Foundational knowledge of network architecture, data center operations, cloud structures, and data warehousing
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration (MBA), or a closely related executive technical discipline preferred
