Job Summary
As CIO, lead the enterprise Information Services strategy and operations at MarinHealth, overseeing IT services, digital health initiatives, cybersecurity, cloud-based/SaaS solutions, and governance to optimize care delivery, service quality, and business performance. Drive the IT roadmap, budget, and portfolio management; provide executive leadership to align technology with clinical and operational goals; advance digital transformation and innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include setting strategic direction for technology, managing vendor relationships, enabling cross-functional collaboration with clinical and operational leaders, establishing service levels and KPIs, and fostering a high-performance IT culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Health Science, Computer Science highly desirable)
- Five to ten years of technology leadership experience
- Experience leading large-scale enterprise IT solutions in healthcare preferred
- Executive leadership experience and strong communication skills
- Experience with SaaS, cloud-based, and outsourced IT solutions
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy considerations
- Ability to manage IT budgets and vendor relationships
- Proactive self-starter with ability to deliver goals in a complex environment
- Demonstrated experience with digital transformation and driving business growth through IT
- Strong change management and program management capabilities
- Ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
- Licenses/certifications desirable in health-related IT fields
