Job Summary
CHRO leads enterprise-wide HR strategy and operations for a multi-company health and human services-focused organization. Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation/benefits, compliance with federal/state/local laws, HRIS systems, policy development, workforce planning, and reporting to executive leadership and the board. Oversees HR audits, investigations, and risk management; drives employee engagement, retention, and culture; partners with COO/CFO on labor cost forecasting and organizational design; delivers contracted HR services including virtual HR and fractional CHRO capabilities across affiliates.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- HRIS proficiency
- Experience guiding HR audits and compliance programs
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA)
- HR leadership experience across multi-site operations
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR strongly preferred
