Job Summary
Chief Digital Hardware Engineer leading digital hardware architecture and board-level design, overseeing FPGA/RTL implementation, platform architectures, and high-speed interfaces. Responsible for defining design standards, timing closure, clock-domain strategies, and architecture decisions across FPGA, CPU, ASIC, and silicon solutions. Acts as a technical escalation point, advises R&D and senior leadership on strategy and risks, and mentors senior engineers to strengthen organizational capability and succession. Cultivates engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the digital engineering community. Strong collaboration with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders to align digital technology with the roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in digital hardware engineering with demonstrated technical leadership and system-level ownership
- Strong hands-on expertise in board-level digital design, simulation, validation, and debug
- Experience designing FPGA architectures and developing RTL using VHDL and/or SystemVerilog
- Solid understanding of high-speed digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, and Ethernet
- Practical experience with timing analysis, clocking architectures, clock-domain crossing, and verification methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex hardware and system-level issues using advanced lab instrumentation
- Effective communication skills with ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders
- Mentoring senior engineers and building sustainable technical leadership pipelines
