Job Summary
Oversee the Finance Department and lead the Executive Team in defining organizational strategy, developing annual budgets, and managing fiscal sustainability for Waterfall Community Health Center. Direct all financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, grant management, and the 340B pharmacy program while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Supervise coding, billing, and credentialing staff, conduct performance evaluations, and prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors and external auditors. Manage departmental budgets, oversee key investments, and collaborate with Human Resources on employee benefits and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in grant management and allocation including application process and periodic reporting on grant expenditures and updates
- Fiscal management of all public/government and other grants
- Experience with 340B pharmacy program including oversight of 340B financial accounting, compliance, and monitoring
- Knowledge of compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HRSA, and other FQHC regulatory requirements
- Ability to present financial statements in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (GAAP)
- Experience managing a departmental budget
- Ability to conduct continuous performance evaluations for self and employees
- Competency in problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

- Experience in managing banking/credit relationships
- Experience in overseeing key investments including software systems, operational alternatives and site placement and/or expansion
- Experience in conducting regular staff meetings, approving procedures and continuing education, and managing paid time off (PTO)
