Job Summary
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and timely closings. Develop financial planning and analysis processes including budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and variance analysis. Oversee capital strategy for debt, equity, and refinancing while monitoring covenant compliance and external financing relationships. Establish internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets and support scalability. Partner with operations and acquisitions teams to provide financial insights, drive performance, and identify risks. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital metrics to ensure financial flexibility. Support the Board with performance reviews and strategic recommendations while leading and mentoring the finance team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in real estate, Affordable Housing, construction cost accounting, managerial and reporting
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP)
- Proven experience with financial reporting
- Experience with audit readiness
- Experience with regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience in capital markets
- Experience with debt/equity financing
- Experience with portfolio performance analytics
- Experience with strategic financial management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with financial modelling
