Job Summary
CFO responsible for fund-level financial strategy across multiple restaurant brands, overseeing portfolio-company CFOs, establishing financial controls and forecasting, and leading M&A, capital allocation, and performance reporting to PE partners. Drives EBITDA growth, improves margins and cash flow, develops playbooks for post-merger integration, and collaborates with investment teams on financing structures, debt covenants, and strategic exits. Requires extensive experience in multi-unit restaurant finance, strong leadership and communication skills, and expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and KPI-driven performance across a private equity-backed portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- At least 5 years in a private equity-backed multi-unit restaurant or retail environment
- Experience managing multiple CFOs across a diverse portfolio of restaurant or consumer-facing brands
- Strong expertise in restaurant unit economics, franchising, and corporate finance
- Deep knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, capital markets, and M&A execution
