Job Summary
Chief Financial Officer/Controller responsible for strategic financial leadership across a real estate development enterprise. Oversees funding initiatives, financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, capital allocation, risk management, internal controls, and comprehensive financial reporting. Leads the accounting team to ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, collaborates with investors, lenders, and joint venture partners to raise equity and debt for new projects, and guides strategic decision-making to support ambitious growth plans.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in real estate finance or related fields, preferably within private equity real estate
- Proven success in raising equity and debt capital for real estate projects
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis skills
- Proficient in accounting and financial reporting, with knowledge of GAAP standards
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and motivating teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and driving
