Job Summary
CFO role at Ossium Health with responsibility for directing and overseeing the company’s financial operations including financial strategy, FP&A, budgeting, cash flow analysis, audits and compliance, treasury, and disclosures. Lead financial reporting, investor updates, and board materials; manage audits (including SEC filings and SOX readiness); partner with leadership to scale the finance function for growth and transition toward a public company, while aligning with the CEO and executive team. Lead external resources through audits, develop comprehensive financial reports and dashboards, optimize capital structure and ROI, and collaborate with People team on future finance/ accounting roles. Requires senior financial leadership experience in public companies, IPO experience preferred, MBA preferred, and strong analytics, modeling, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years experience as a senior financial executive (VP/C-level) in a public company
- Hands-on knowledge of public market offerings
- Advanced ability to develop financial strategy, including projections, modeling, and profitability analysis across business lines
- Dynamic executive presence and excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior and C-level partners and investors
- Proven success in taking a business through scale and building out finance programs to support that growth
- Experience working with external auditors (including a PCAOB audit), compliance, and regulatory oversight
- Outstanding project management skills; track record of guiding internal and external stakeholders through complex financial transactions
- Exceptional Excel skills
- This position is based in our San Francisco office; we maintain a hybrid schedule of Monday - Thursday in the office, with Friday as a remote work day
