Job Summary

Lead the accounting and supply chain departments for approximately 20 people while assisting the CEO in strategic business planning and negotiating potential acquirers. Act as the primary financial advisor by preparing forecasts for the management team and Board of Directors, overseeing debt covenant compliance, and managing investments for warranty obligations. Develop key performance indicators, integrate operations from recently acquired companies, and implement improved accounting systems and transaction processing. Manage relationships with professional service advisors, vendors, and customers, while providing training and guidance to drive outstanding results and career advancement. Monitor service contract performance to drive margin improvements and oversee tax, insurance, benefit, and risk management functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain management
  • Experience in financial analysis (both historical and forecasts)
  • Experience leading an accounting team
  • Experience managing a team of approximately 20 people in the accounting and supply chain departments
  • Ability to operate in a professional, positive attitude, team oriented, open and transparent manner
  • Experience in strategic business planning
  • Experience in seeking out and negotiating with potential acquirers
  • Experience acting as a primary financial advisor
  • Experience in developing and managing key performance indicators
  • Experience in preparing and presenting financial forecasts to management team and Board of Directors
  • Experience in integrating operations and accounting processes of recently acquired company
  • Experience in implementing and managing an improved accounting system and transaction processing
  • Experience in managing investments set aside for warranty obligations
  • Experience in working with financial lending institutions and managing debt covenant compliance
  • Experience in providing continual development, training and guidance to employees
  • Experience in managing reporting and other required functions involved with taxes, business insurance, employee benefit programs, and risk management issues
  • Experience in monitoring existing and managing the development of new accounting and internal control policies and procedures
  • Experience in managing relationships with professional service advisors (CPA firm, banks, law firm, investors)
  • Experience in supporting relationships with key vendors and customers
  • Experience in bid and proposal pricing process
  • Experience in providing oversight on contract management across the company
  • Experience in monitoring ongoing service contract performance
