Job Summary
Chief Financial Officer to lead Neighborhood Health Center's financial strategy and team across six Western New York locations. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle management (including pharmacy billing), grants management, audit compliance, and long-term financial modeling. Partner with clinical operations, quality, and administrative teams to align financial planning with growth objectives and mission-driven goals. Drive data-informed decision-making using dashboards and AI-enabled approaches, develop tailored financial reporting for the board and leadership, and ensure compliance with grant requirements, FQHC regulations, HRSA/340B guidelines. A collaborative, mission-aligned leader who can evolve the finance function and support strategic expansion while building talent and sustaining financial health.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of senior-level financial leadership experience at an organization of similar size and complexity
- Healthcare and/or FQHC experience valuable; candidates with transferable industry experience and strong enterprise-level financial leadership will be considered
- Demonstrated enterprise-wide financial leadership at CFO or senior finance leadership level
- Exposure to revenue cycle operations, reimbursement structures, and funding models (grants, cost-based reimbursement)
- Ability to translate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with analytics and AI-enabled financial tools a plus
