Job Summary
Lead enterprise financial strategy and serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team, shaping long-range planning and growth initiatives. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while ensuring the integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Drive financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, optimize cash flow and capital structure, and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks. Build and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth. Report directly to the CEO and partner with the executive team and Board to inform investment decisions. This role requires significant stock ownership and is ideally based in the Rock Island, IL office, with a salary range of $200,000–$275,000 for Illinois-based candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience serving as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

- Advanced expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and performance management
- Executive presence with strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Strong strategic thinking and proven ability to operate as a trusted business partner
- Deep knowledge of risk management, internal controls, and financial governance
- Demonstrated success in budget development, cost management, and operational efficiency
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage executive leadership and Board stakeholders
- Proven leadership capability with a focus on talent development and team performance
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and business ethics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including occasional overnight stays
